A strange phenomenon on 'Duan Wu Jie'

In my last post, I told readers about the origin of Duan Wu Jie or the Chang Festival.

Actually on this day, that is yesterday, you could make your eggs stand on their ends. The photo which I scanned from the Kwong Wah Yit Poh that I subscribe to shows two boys doing the experiment with their father. It worked as the eggs were standing on their ends, all of them. If readers want to do this experiment, you can do so on 28 May 2009 next year at noon. This strange phenomenon takes place at noon on Duan Wu Jie every year. So it is worth your attempt to verify what I have said.
