I like to eat cooked oats as they contain beta glucan which is good for our bodies. Beta glucan can enhance our immune system, as it helps to activate white blood cells to do the job of combating invaders such as germs to our bodies. Besides this function, beta glucan can also lower cholesterol level and blood pressure as well as promote weight loss for those who are overweight.
I would like to share the little bit I know about the goodness of beta glucan with readers.
