I had to reformat my drive C today because it crawled due to worm attack. Now I had found a free firewall, the pctools personal firewall which I downloaded and installed. I hope it will stopped any worms from creeping into my system again. As for key generator which usually contained virus, I will not open it until I know it is virus-free.
It took me about three hours to get all my programs back. What a time-consuming effort!
My computer also started to hum. I hope it does not spell the end of my hard disk.
So much for reformatting drive C and reinstalling Windows and all the programs I needed to run to do my job.
